We congratulate again, Linley Bielby who was the BLOOD 2021 ANZSBT Ruth Sanger orator. The Ruth Sanger Award is the highest award of the Society and is made in recognition of a significant contribution to the field of transfusion medicine.
As BLOOD 2021 was a virtual meeting, we were unable to present Linley with her medal physically. We sincerely thank Professor Erica Wood who kindly presented the Ruth Sanger medal to Linley on behalf of the Society at a small gathering. Congratulations Linley on your well-deserved award!
