Haematology Fellow in Classical Haematology with optional exposure to Malignant and Transplant Haematology, Perth

A position is available at Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) for a Fellow in Classical Haematology Clinical Care and Trials with the option for clinical and laboratory malignant haematology exposure. Ideally applicants must have completed part 1 FRACP. The position is suitable for Advanced Trainees in Haematology who are completing RCPA/RACP training or Fellows in Haematology who have just completed training.
The Haematology Department is the State Public Adult Haemophilia Treatment Centre and provides governance and all clinical care for thrombosis patients. There is expectation to be involved in multiple trials in haemophilia and classical haematology and an opportunity to be involved with clinical care of malignant haematology and transplant patient care.
Clinical responsibilities include outpatient and consultative care principally of thrombosis and haemostasis patients and those enrolled in clinical trials. There is an option to be involved in the outpatient and consultative care of malignant and post allogeneic and autologous transplant patients. There is an option to be involved in laboratory haematology reporting if suitably qualified.
There is no requirement for participation in after hours on call rosters.
